Mid-Winter Beekeeper's Feast

Our dinner is provided by the award winning Buckhorn Catering Company. The menu is designed by Ann M. Evans. On the Center's Advisory Board, Ann is the coauthor of The Davis Farmers Market Cookbook and cofounder of both the Davis Farmers Market and the Davis Food Cooperative. An event planner through her firm, Evans & Brennan which specializes in school lunch, Ann is also a home beekeeper and illustrator. She is a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier San Francisco, which has is a sponsor of this event in their Green Tables Program.

Great Chefs Series: Patrick Mulvaney

The second event in our popular Great Chefs Series features Patrick Mulvaney, a mainstay and cornerstone of the Sacramento culinary scene, and pioneer in the Farm-to-Fork movement. On the morning of the lecture, 24 participants will meet Chef Mulvaney in the Food Innovation Kitchen, a state-of-the-art learning facility located within the Robert Mondavi Institute. They will enjoy private instruction and get to dine with this world class chef. Afterward, particpants will enjoy a lecture, and food tasting with a wine and beer pairing.
